I selected football for my 8th grade project because I know all about it. Football is my favorite sport. I grew up playing it and watching it, since I was 4 years old. Football is fun to watch and play, trust me it’s fun. In this PowerPoint you will learn the fundamentals of football.

Write a Letter to Your Favorite Athlete

Do you want to know how to write a friendly letter to your favorite athlete? I wrote a letter to Bo Jackson because he is my favorite athlete. Bo Jackson is a former Raider football player. He was a great running back. Bo Jackson has inspired me to play the position of running back. I learned many things from watching YouTube videos about his playing. I wanted him to know that I am a fan of his. Here is the letter I wrote:

Dear Bo, 

I want to be your biggest fan and my grandma is also one of your biggest fans. She grew up watching you. I got your name from my grandmother.

I know a lot about you. I know that you ran a 4.13 in the 40-yard dash and you played for my favorite team, the Los Angeles Raiders. But right now they are called the Las Vegas Raiders. I play your position, running back. I made it to the all-stars the first year I played football. It’s just like the pro bowl but for little kids. I made it 5 times in a row. I started playing running back my 2nd football year, that’s when I started loving the position of running back. Then I heard about you, that’s when I loved my position in football even more. I want to be a great running back, just like you.

I just wanted to let you know that I am your biggest fan. I also want to be like you, and play running back in the NFL. I am preparing and working out every day to improve my skills.

You can write a letter to your favorite athlete by following these steps:

  1. The Heading–Write your address on the first line on the right side of the stationary. Under the address write the date on which the letter is written. You write the month, day, and year.
  2. Salutation–This is where you write your greeting. You can write Dear or Hello. Make sure to put a comma after the greeting.
  3. Body–The body of your letter is where you write about why the athlete is your favorite. You can write about the accomplishments of the athlete. You can also ask the athlete questions about their life and what it take to be a great athlete.
  4. Closing–When you are done with the letter, you end it with Sincerely, Yours Truly, Your Friend, or Your Loyal Fan.
  5. Signature–You sign the letter under the closing

What is a logo?

A logo is an image that represents a team, a business, or a brand. A logo helps people recognize the team, a business, or a brand. The logo for sport teams always communicates to people that the team is powerful, strong, scary, and unbeatable. My favorite team is the Las Vegas Raiders. It shows a pirate and two swords. The logo represents a team that will attack the opposing team in their territory. The logo also shows the opposing team that the Raiders will steal the football. The Raider’s logo is simple, but tells the opposing team that they are frightening and dangerous.

You can create your own logo, make sure you follow the steps so your design is a great logo for your team. When designing a logo, you need to follow these steps:

  • Make it simple
  • Make It memorable
  • Make sure it looks cool in 50 years and more
  • Make sure it can be used anywhere
  • Make sure it fits the team
